This morning, we upgraded the site, adding some nice new features:
- There are now 61 categories! A friend of yours is a DJ? tell him to sign up in our new Disk Jockey category or sign up to any category
- We improved our search: you can now search for "roof", "roofs", "roofing" to find a roofer in your zipcode
- You can now sort the genies (the service providers) by relevance or ratings. Search for a "kitchen remodel", order the Genies by highest rated or most relevant
- Your portfolio images can now be up to 5 Meg! We found that a lot of users on this site have some high end cameras that produce big files. They can now upload these files to their portfolio (A portfolio can be a showcase of their previous work, their business, tools, partners). By the way, we only show Genies with a Portfolio on our home page, so don't waste time and add pictures to your portfolio
- Be alerted everytime there is a new article or a new blog post: we have implemented RSS, which is a way to be notified when there is something new. Look for "Bookmark" or "Subscribe" icons in our community related pages. If you are not sure about what I'm talking about, learn about RSS by clicking here .
