Hardwood Floor Sanding
What types of hardwood sanding solutions are there?
1.) Light sanding
Should your floors lose brilliance/sheen desire do to normal wear
and tear with no dents, peeling of polyurethane, no deep scratches.
Then your floors maybe a good candidate for a Light Sanding/Buffing in
preparation for toothing for a recoating of polyurethane with sheen of
your choice. Not only is Light Sanding much less expensive than a Full
Sanding job it is less invasive not requiring for you to vacate your
home for several days to complete a full sanding Job.
2.) Full sanding
Should your Hardwood floors; become coupled, warped, buckled,
termite damaged, have deep scratches, rotten boards, water damaged,
peeling polyurethane, or in need of an extension in a room, in need of
major repairs, or you plainly want a new custom color stained floor
with existing floors. Then your floors are a great candidate for a
Full Sanding/Staining/Refinishing.
And that is a great investment on your home whether you plan give your
home a new and fresh look or are seeking a proffessional sanding job
in order to better to the odds of a higher bid on Selling your home.
It has been to my experience that a home with fresh and clean hardwood
floor surfaces have the power to sell faster and higher price in the
market due to their appeal and bountifull benefits compared to carpet
or other floor covering.
