Medical wastage means medical deterioration in somebody. E.g.: Medical wastage in welders due to work environment.

Medical waste can be dangerous (think bodily fluids, needles) and needs to be collected and disposed of in a proper and legal way.

This is why you need medical waste workers. Wastage comes by itself - no help needed there.
